Recently,shoes dating from about 3,500 BC were found.
In the same cave complex have been found what is possibly the world's oldest winery dating from about 4100 BC ,found were grape seeds from vitis vinifera(its grape seeds are still used to produce wine producing grapes), grape vines, wine press, fermentation vat made of clay and earthen drinkware.
Also found on potsherds was the plant pigment malvidin,only found in the armenian region in either pomegranate or grapes.
